Testimonies from former Catholics~

Dear Sue, I just read your letter and i had to reply to it . You can use it if you like, if it will help someone. My husband was raised Catholic. He got saved and we started going to a Bapist church. He told me at one point, that he knew that if he had died when he was a Catholic, he would have gone to hell. Well after a while he fell out with the preacher and he quit going. God was dealing with me about a deeper walk with. at that time my husband thought I was crazy. GOD had to move me and my family to another town, so I could be under a ministry that taught the word and that I could see God move in all situations, Well after being under that ministry for years, my husband finally saw that God was real in my life and he started back to church with me. Before he died he askme if I would preach his funeral. I told him that I wouldn't be able to do that. We did get a preacher that my husband had known years ago. The night he died the Lord gave me all the scriptures to use at the funeral, so I did have a big part in it. God is so real, and it is so excieting to see his hand at work. Another story, my Daughters Mother_law was in the hospital dyingand she called from NY and asked me to go to the hospital.I knew I had to go so I told my boss, as soon as someone comes in I am leaving. I just knew that I had to get there. Over the years I had tried to talk t her about God but she would get mad at me. To shorten the story ,I had been singing to her and reading the word. All of a sudden she got this horrible look on her face and I knew that she was dying and going straight to hell. So I started talking to her, and I told herI knew that she could hear me, and for to cry out to Jesus and ask him to forgive her. I told I know that spirit man can hear me and that spirit man in her could cry out to J esus. When she passed away she had a peaceful look on her face and I know that if I had not obeyed God she would have gone to hell .I am not boasting in any of this. I was just a vessel that obeyed the Lord After reading this I left out the important part She was Catholic all of her life and didn't know anything about Jesus IFyou can use any of this feel free to do so. Your Sister in the Lord, Betty.
